Awesome.
I die. I was in such a bad mood today until I read this. It's only a little thing but I love it when musicians take the time to write something like this. =]

Movie Review: Away We Go.
WELL. I just watched this movie yesterday and I LOVED IT. It's super cute but yet not overly cheesy. It's beyond funny and I really loved every minute of it. It's a great story and it's pretty original. It stars John Krasinski as Burt Farlander and Maya Rudolph as Verona De Tessant. It's directed by Sam Mendes and it's written by Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida. Here's the plot summary from IMDb:
"Mid-thirtysomethings Burt Farlander and Verona De Tessant are a loving couple. Burt has always wanted to marry Verona, but Verona resists, not seeing the point of the institution. Regardless, they are having a baby together, despite questioning their potential parenting abilities. They are happy that they made the decision to move close to Burt's parents, Jerry and Gloria Farlander, as they want to share the experience with the baby's grandparents. Verona's own parents died over ten years earlier, a situation about which she doesn't like to discuss. In Verona's sixth month, she and Burt learn that Jerry and Gloria are moving to Antwerpen, Belgium the month before the baby is due, just because it's something they've always wanted to do. Burt and Verona don't understand what they see as Jerry and Gloria's selfishness in putting this move above spending time with their impending granddaughter. Being mobile people, Burt and Verona decide to move. As they want to share their new family experience with people that they love, they decide to take a trans-continental trip to meet with old friends and relatives. Most of them are married with children of their own, and Burt and Verona want to see where they would like to live and with whom they want to share the experience."
I highly recommend it to EVERYONE. Rudolph and Krasinski's chemistry on-screen is remarkable and it's so enjoyable to see them interact with one another. It depicts a relationship between two people that love each other very much and it's a rare to find such a connection between two people. It's a shame that this movie wasn't a bigger hit but I think it'll be one of those cult movies. It definitely reminds me of movies like Juno and Garden State. It's shot in a similar way as Garden State and I love it. And like those movies, it had an incredible soundtrack of primarily including songs by Alexi Murdoch. The rest including The Strangers, Bob Dylan, The Velvet Underground, and George Harrison. The song featured in the trailer is All My Days by Alexi Murdoch. I really can't wait to purchase this DVD.
Fun Fact: The film was actually consider a "green" film because they thought that film sets usually waste so much and they wanted to try and be environmentally friendly. They worked diligently to reuse things and not waste time with water bottles. It's such a hippie thing to do and I loved it!
WATCH IT!

Whatever.
It's been a SUPER long time since I posted anything. I apologize. But my sleeping patterns have been so jacked up, I never really feel like doing much of anything. I've been feeling sick as well. But it wasn't because of stress or anything like that, thankfully. However, now it is. James got his financial aid check FINALLY in the mail yesterday. Since we currently don't have a bank account because that scam some guy pulled on us, he went to Integra Bank thinking he could open up a new one since I paid the bank all the money they were asking for and since the man who was "helping" me said that if I paid it the fraud would be off of our credit. Apparently not. James couldn't open an account because it's still on our credit. And I don't have the number for the "helpful" man. I'm hoping my mom still has it.
Now that I've been put through a horrible scam process, I don't really trust anyone. So I'm freaking out that somehow this guy calling saying he was with US Bank was a scam too and I lost $1400. And if that's the case, I'd still owe US Bank. I'm really really freaking out. But I'm going to my mom's today so hopefully we can get this straighten out.
It's funny because I think back to a few years ago when I was super depressed...I wish for that time back...because the amount of hardship and pain dealing with all of this. I feel like a complete failure. And I don't have a job and I'm not in school anymore. I'm pretty much right. But...I know that I had to move out and if I moved out, I couldn't work at Target or go to NKU... I'm letting people get to me though. Like my father. I asked him for some money so I couldn't maybe get some dinner since we're living with James' mom and she's on food stamps and a set income...and there's not really much food in the house. Of course he said no. "You quit your job and you're not in school. I'm not giving you any money. You should just move back home."
I keep making plans trying to make something out of my life...but things keep stopping me. I'm going to give up soon because I see no point in trying any longer.
